Change This… Instead of That…

Changing to be healthier, sexier, leaner, faster & stronger is pretty easy when you follow basic REAL food tips & general guidelines. There is a common belief that losing weight & feeling better is hard & that “diets” & no fun restrictions are a must (I thought the same thing when losing my 84 pounds… frankly, losing 84 pounds sucked, hurt, was hard & did not feel good!) Well, I think now, that is pretty unnecessary & a waste of some very useful belief points : )
My tip… ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CHANGE JUST ONE THING & MAKE IT BETTER! Thats it! (This is my challenge for all my boot camp participants. Can you handle this simple challenge?) I promise ALL campers that take this challenge… their body, mind & health will be completely different & better at the end of any 4 week NDBC program! IT’S TRUE!
A few “just one” changes…..
When you give your body what it needs, it will change the way you want it to! That simple! Adding nutrition is what everyone really wants to do to feel better, lose weight & live with quality. Here are 3 simple changes that YOU can handle that will help get you on the fast, EASIER track to better health.
1. Go GLUTEN FREE or chose WHOLE GRAIN (not multi-grain) food products (this is NOT the same as “100% whole wheat”) INSTEAD of food products made with white flour or wheat. FYI.. they are the same thing.
2. Use REAL food sweeteners like (in my personal best order) Raw Texas Honey, REAL maple syrup, Stevia or agave nectar. INSTEAD of ANY white sugar in any form (brown sugar too) & definitely any synthetic sugar (your pinks, yellows & blues.)
3. Salt with unrefined Sea Salt or Mediterranean Sea Salt. INSTEAD of regular table salt. Regular table salt is what you would find in most restaurants & homes. Ever seen the food product with the little girl & the yellow umbrella? That is regular table salt.
Processed, highly refined (& potentially toxic) carbohydrates are food products that are consumed in massive amounts in this country. Most are made with one, if not all of the 3 “insteads” above. If you really want carbs… choose one of the changes above & enjoy your carbs! Of course, remember that Mother Nature’s REAL carbohydrates come from fruits, veggies & whole grains.
Follow my tips & you will be great! Like I mentioned before, losing my weight was not fun. But I have figured out a really easy, fun & feel great way to do so! It’s called REAL FOOD! Get it in any way, shape or form & get the nutrition your body is craving!

















Hey Mario! You’re a superstar. I’ve changed a lot since bootcamp…some not for the better, but I’m going to start today and change one thing…I don’t know which bad habit to start with!!! For lent, I’m going to give up sloth…no sitting when I can be moving. Hugs to you and Jennifer.
